Atheist Experience 22.52: Doing Atheism Without Being An Ass | Craig – Alabama

The Atheist Experience 22.52 December 30, 2018 with Tracie Harris & Jen Peeples.

Call the show on Sundays 4:00-6:00pm CDT: 1-512-686-0279

The Atheist Experience is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.

The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

Who is this "Noah Zark" guy? I keep hearing a lot about him.

Was he a sailor man?

I've been binging a lot of these episodes the past week or so, and I have a few takeaways. First, most of the "arguments" from the theist apologists are exactly the same. Whether from professional or amateur apologists, they all follow the same pattern. You can't not be perceived as an ass being an atheist around a religious person. So enjoy the ass crown they have placed on you and piss them off for a laugh.

Well Craig obviously is clueless about what Jesus really said

It's understandable that he has reactions to bad examples

But he just stopped there

"The truth will set you free" Jesus

Craig is a sweetheart.

Flying Dog

Sounds like a normal Alabama upbringing.

Will you folks PLEASE be honest with the creationist callers and tell them their INVISIBLE "god" is just the leading character in Hebrew MYTHOLOGY? He's just as made up as Thor, Zeus, Odin, Apollo, Mithra, Ra, Venus, Adonis, and the hundreds of other INVISIBLE gods we humans have dreamed up. Religions are nothing but money making scams that prey on their gullible followers for their $$$$$$$. And churches are nothing but pay-for-visit social clubs and some churches actually go as far as sending their members monthly statements.

Oh man, I love this guy! Trying to do the best he can and keeping it real.

mrArchduke I think people have the misconception that a God has to be good. A god is just a being that has the absolute power to do whatever it wants. Think about it. Your consciousness, what you feel, how you feel, pain, where you are, and who you are is all dictated by this one being. Do you remember choosing to exist? No? That’s because you didn’t. you were born into existence and no matter how hard it gets or how much pain this being puts you through you can’t do anything about it. You were created, even if it… Read more »
