Creationist Radio Host: “Liberals Are Anti-Science”… – VIDEO

On his radio program today, Bryan Fischer coined a new phrase — “Harfed up a hairball” — inspired by State Department Deputy Spokesperson Marie Harf, who has…

Liberals reject a major branch of science: namely Creation Science!

  • Glen Aitken March 1, 2015 at 8:55 am

Far right: “The Earth is between 6,000 and 10,000 years old”
Left: “What about fossil records, rock samples, carbon dating/testing, etc.”
Far right: “…that’s just bad science!”
Left: “…OK, hey the world is getting hotter each year”
Far right: “No the Earth goes through periods of hot and cold. It has for
    millions of years”
Left:”…wait I thought the world was only 6,000 to 10,000 years old?”
    Far right: “Error…Error…Self-destruct….Self-destruct”

Says the man who thinks the world is a few thousand years old. man was made
from dirt and woman from his rib by an eternal cosmic genie, and all the
world’s geology and geomorphology is explainable by a world wide deluge
    that violates basic hydrology.

“And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged
themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher?
So *the sun stood still in the midst of heaven*, and hasted not to go down
about a whole day”. – Joshua 10:13 (KJV)

Bryan Fisher should know that there are a group of fringe Christian
creationists who are geocentrists as well. They believe the “assault on the
Bible” began not with Darwin, but with Galileo. I would say they are the
most consistent in the creationist camp. If we can’t take this verse at
face value to mean what it means, what other verses can we dismiss with the
    same justification?

  • FoxMikage March 1, 2015 at 9:29 am

Sometimes I think these guys are so vehemently against the fact that
climate change is happening because they want natural disasters to
increase. What “proves” God more than floods, droughts, tornadoes and
hurricanes to scare the shit out of people.

  • Equals Four March 1, 2015 at 9:32 am

Does this fucking guy even have the Internet? Does he block dot-edu
websites? I mean, what the fuck is he talking about, liberals are
    anti-science on global warming?

  • The Masked Arab March 1, 2015 at 9:50 am

As Kyle points out the Bible does also imply geocentrism in Ecclesiastes 1:5
“The Sun also ariseth, and the Sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place
    where he arose”.

Also who can forget Yahweh stopping the Sun for a day to help one of his
people out in battle with extra sunlight one day!

  • Ronin Dave March 1, 2015 at 9:55 am

Fisher and a lot of conservative morons think that just because liberals
will come down on them for generalizing all muslims as terrorists and for
discriminating against them that we will accept any crazy shit coming from
a muslim or any minority for that matter. Missing the point by miles is a
    conservative scientific phenomenon.

  • nenafan1 March 1, 2015 at 10:01 am

I said it about the Fox hostess on another video, and I’ll say it again now.

    What. A. Dumb-ass.

The saddest thing is NOT that he is soooo freaking ignorant and proud of
his ignorance, though that is INCREDIBLY sad itself. The saddest part is
that other people listen and agree somehow.

  • thebatmanover9000 March 1, 2015 at 10:04 am

I must get the number for Bryan’s weed guy. He has to be smoking some
    really good shit.

Creationist Radio Host: Liberals Are Anti-Science.

  • Swach Gaming March 1, 2015 at 10:35 am

The church was the one arguing that the sun revolved around the Earth back
    in the day…

  • greenghost2008 March 1, 2015 at 10:37 am

Both the left and the right have an anti-science wing

  • aj elliot March 1, 2015 at 11:05 am

Scary how that man can justify his views

  • OkamiG15 March 1, 2015 at 11:27 am

Hey Bryan, remember when your people burned our people at the stakes for
saying the Earth revolves around the sun? Ah… sweet memories. Look how
far we’ve come. And now you’re basically saying that you knew we were right
all along. So what, the burning at the stakes was just for fun?

  • whyamimrpink78 March 1, 2015 at 11:43 am

Didn’t watch the video, don’t have too. The typical argument from liberals
in saying the right are anti-science is to point to their fundamental
Christian backgrounds, that I the pure politics of it, fundamentalist
Christians typically vote republican just like when Obama supported gay
marriage, gays typically vote democrat. It is a part of the political
game. Under Bush and the republicans spending in science research went up,
it has gone down (percent wise) under Obama. Funding is harder to come by
now then under Bush. As Neil deGrasse Tyson said, no republican wants to
die poor. That is why they invest in science to expand technology and
create more wealth. As a scientist myself the one thing I support about
republicans is how they leave science up to the scientist and don’t make it
so political. Liberals, to me, are the anti-science party simply for
    making science political.

  • awesome brain March 1, 2015 at 11:52 am

Except for the stoning and other immoral stuff, Scientificly speaking the
Quran makes much more sense than the bible.

  • Radix Malorum March 1, 2015 at 12:15 pm

So some cosmic douchebag created the universe and only chose to populate a
tiny nanoscopic spec of dust known as earth in some random corner with life
6 thousand years ago, then created man from dirt and woman from man’s ribs
and had them incestually reproduce offspring which then pissed him off so
he drowned them and then had the surviving family incestually reproduce
offspring which resulted in modern people? I guess all that incest does
    explain republicans.

  • Kzar Antila March 1, 2015 at 12:16 pm

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a creationist say anything intelligent. By
the way, it’s not “obvious” that the earth orbits the sun and rotates on
its axis; if it were obvious, people in biblical times would have realized.
It would have been common knowledge in ancient times. It took careful
observation from intellectually curious people to realize the reality of
the situation. I seriously doubt Bryan Fischer would be able to determine
this “obvious” fact if left to his own limited devices. He knows better
because he’s taken the word of people who understand how to determine such
    things through science.

  • joe smoe March 1, 2015 at 12:20 pm

we need a simple test; “do you really, against all evidence, believe in a
higher supernatural power?” “uhm…yes.” BANG “next.” well be better off,
    just admit it.

  • Steven Manning March 1, 2015 at 12:26 pm

I was going to put an angry comment about how ignorant Bryan Fisher is, but
    I’m not going to.

Instead, I’m just going to sit back and appreciate the irony of one
religious con man criticizing another religious con man.

  • DeletedDelusion March 1, 2015 at 12:53 pm

I’m sure half of Fischers audience are probably flat earthers themselves,
and now pretty mad at him…. ;)

  • Jerome Spires March 1, 2015 at 12:55 pm

yEA kYLE you are right there mis climate chanbe of course their has all
ways been climate change since the creation of the earth. What happened to
GLOBAL WARMING CAUSED BY MAN. Ohh we are right climate change HEE HEE HEE
like you like to do. we just forget global warming lets just go withwhere
we can’t be wrong like we were wrong with global warming!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ask

Yep climate change like it has been since the begin!!!!!!!!!!!!! shut up

  • vuk911 March 1, 2015 at 1:00 pm

I love how Bryan says (when speaking about the earth being in the center of
universe) that it is “Obviously not true”. I can`t help but to quote Neil
    Degrasse Tyson here:
-“Every great scientific truth goes through three phases. First, people
deny it. Second, they say it conflicts with the Bible. Third, they say
    they’ve known it all along”

  • Robert Smith March 1, 2015 at 1:16 pm

I’ve found a common theme here. Both religion and Republicanism keep you
thinking stupid and follow like sheep. Naw, this isn’t a revelation. I’ve
    known this for decades.

  • Matthew Sarson March 1, 2015 at 1:35 pm

WTF? The Saudi clerics are about as conservative and right wing as you can
get and its the republican party overwhelming who are ignoring scientists.
    What a damn hypocrite

  • alexandersmith913 March 1, 2015 at 1:56 pm

doesn’t bryan and saudi clerics agree on the same things.

  • SARA MULLANEY March 1, 2015 at 2:14 pm

I’ve never laughed out loud so much as I just did watching this video of
    this preacher guy.

  • Death Temple Ascetic Justin March 1, 2015 at 2:40 pm

This is too ironic for words. Its a self parody as usual. Calling
scientists anti-science is the height of egocentric insanity aka

  • Jacob Pearse March 1, 2015 at 2:57 pm

You can literally tell your feelings on the clip you’ve showed by the
initial look on your face the second when you switch back to you…..and
9/10 times you’re face says “what the fuck is this shit?!?!?”

  • slimwon March 1, 2015 at 3:25 pm

    This is teeeeww much

  • gunnyblender March 1, 2015 at 3:46 pm

Wait.. so a muslim cleric says that.. some democrat says that, then
liberals are anti-science about climate change and they share the same..
    *HOW’D HE DO THAT!?*

  • GargamelGold March 1, 2015 at 3:50 pm

+Secular Talk Bryan Fischer is throwing stones inside his glass house.

  • Tariq Amirs March 1, 2015 at 4:06 pm

  • Tony Grant March 1, 2015 at 4:15 pm

Brain Fissure’s back! I was beginning to miss the low-hanging fruit.

  • What is my purpose? March 1, 2015 at 4:43 pm

Mhuhahaha… I almost pissed my pants when he compared us to Islam.

  • Guernicaman March 1, 2015 at 4:54 pm

  • Leo Roberts March 1, 2015 at 6:20 pm

I’m with you here Kyle, but that 4 corners thing is kinda thin, if you know
what I mean. Love the show, by the way!

  • LordSesshomaru1000 March 1, 2015 at 6:47 pm

DA fuck he just say?!?!?! Oh the idiocy of Bryan fusher

  • ZerqTM March 1, 2015 at 6:53 pm

the sun could be in the absolute middle of the universe….

since the universe expands uniformly any place you observe it in ill look
like the centre… so there is no way of knowing probably if the earth is
in the middle of all things… it might be in the original centre with
everything going round it in complex orbits.

it’s not likely but its not impossible… then again its also possible i
will turn into a pink pokadot aardvark reading a miniature copy of the New
York times while cycling unicycle all of a sudden…..

that could also happen but is extremely unlikely to happen…

  • Tommy Shanks March 1, 2015 at 6:54 pm

Bryan Fischer is a delusional idiot
