Remember when Larry The Cable Guy would call in to Taco Bob and Pat Lynch every morning on WJRR way before he became famous?

It was Ron and Ron show… WAYYYYY back, and he sucked then too. 😛

He didn’t get popular in Nebraska. He DID get popular in Florida, doing radio skits, playing a cracker redneck.

He is popular now and buys box seats at all the home Nebraska games.

Accurate portrayal, they are dimwits.

Who cares? It’s the south that made him famous, playing a typical cracker. It’s really not that complicated Steve. 😛

Yup I knew he did that. I used to live in Humboldt Nebraska, 15 miles from Pawnee City an knew some of the Whitney’s.

i though it was horrible when he would do commercials for Gibson Truck World.

He still adopted a southern personna. That’s the point, Stephen, not where they are from.

Wow, surprising how not surprised I am about learning this.

Man, I miss Carlin and Hicks.
