High School Bully Attacks A Blind Kid, Is Promptly Knocked Out By A Good Samaritan (VIDEO)
In perhaps one of the most graphic bullying incidents ever caught on video, a bully at the Huntington Beach High School in California was filmed while beating up a blind kid in front of the school.
As seen in the video below, the bully landed two clean punches to the blind kid’s head before a third student appears out of nowhere and lands one massive blow to the bully’s face, knocking him to the ground and seemingly out cold. The “hero” kid shouts, “You trying to jump a f*cking blind kid, bro? What the f*ck is your problem?” while standing over the bully as he bleeds on the sidewalk.
According to The New York Daily News, the school released the following statement:
“Huntington Beach High School firmly believes that all students are afforded an opportunity to learn in a safe and secure environment. Because of this, safety is the highest priority,” it said in a statement to the News. “Huntington Beach High School has a very strong anti-bullying code of conduct and will not condone this type of behavior from any student.”
It’s nice to see that, for now, the hero kid isn’t being vilified by the school or online because, frankly, he absolutely did the right thing. Obviously. The only way to deal with bullies — especially violent bullies who are pummeling blind kids — is to immediately make it stop. The bully’s friends were right there and could’ve disarmed the situation peacefully by standing up to their friend, but they failed. And realistically, it’d be ludicrous to wait around for a school official to show up. Again, it was a blind kid!
Bullies almost always pick on kids who are smaller or unable to fight back because bullies are, for all their bluster, cowards. Unfortunately, they only capitulate to one thing, and that’s force. After having his ass handed to him by the hero kid, I seriously doubt this particular bully will dare to pick on another blind kid.
