How NY Child Victims Act Could Impact Catholic Church


In his State of the State address on January 15th, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo continued his push for the passage of the so-called Child Victims Act. The bill would lift the statute of limitations on sex abuse claims and would allow anyone to file suit against an organization — regardless of when the alleged abuse occurred.
