Because the tech that can replace the car engine needs an equal amount of infrastructure support.
How did people drive around back when there wasn’t enough gas stations?
Answer: They didn’t, they took the train or used a horse.

The meme picture is, by the way, a red herring.
An unintended non sequitur, spawned by scientific ignorance.
It also contains the phrase “wake up” which is common CT lingo and can be roughly translated to
“you fucking blind mole, why can’t you see the light of my idea about this subject that I have very little understanding of or evidence for but have 100% faith in and believe to be the ultimate truth?!?”
Sounding familiar??

Compared to the gas engine of 100 years ago today’s motor is incredibly efficient and powerful.

yawwwnnnn… 😛

Yeah Frederik, that’s it. Infrastructure support. Oil monopolies had nothing to do with it. Thanks for chiming in now! 😀

Hmm… still a gas engine now, isn’t it? Yep…. Pardon me whlie I dig up my 8-track… 😛

good bloody question!

Wait so since you don’t have a rebuttal, Holes in the foam, Does that mean Frederik won this argument?

engines in cars are a lot more efficient. BUT, we do have the technology for alternative engines. but the oil industry is too big of a money-maker to let us change. that’s just the truth.

Because there’s good money in it.

Maybe the person who made this would like to magically make an alternative to petrol engines.

You mean that there aren’t alternatives? Really? 😛

Oh watch it Dylan, that’s crazy talk… 😛

You could use hydrogen, although to produce hydrogen requires burning fossil fuels, you could try electricity – no, wait, that means burning fossil fuels as well……..

Soo…. What clean alternatives did you have in mind?

You’re kidding right? 😀 There are no alternatives to gas engines?? Really Wayne? Really??

What about alternative fuels for existing engines? Do those not exist either? Really Wayne? Really??

Was joking mate. Thought YOU were saying there were alternatives. Lol

All the alternatives require energy to make them. Thermodynamics.

Really Wayne? Fossil fuels are the only way to produce electricity? Do tell… what else do you think you know? 🙂

Wow, look at you! How do you produce enough clean energy to run a country? Solar or wind power doesn’t produce enough power, the best we have is nuclear. You could try growing crops for bio fuel, but then you’re burning fuel again and using lots of resources…….
How would you do it?

All alternatives Wayne? 🙂
Please, continue to enlighten us… we’re learning so much from you. 🙂

Tell me….. How do you do it? You can’t answer me, that’s why you just answering my question with a question.

Still googling? Yaaaaaawwwnnnn.

Actually, I was vacuuming. 😛

I’m not the one who should be googling Wayne. Some of us are apparently better educated than others. So pllease, continue enlightening us with your commanding knowledge of the unmistakable necessity for fossil fuels and gas engines. We’re all waiting. 🙂

Wow, look at me? No, let’s keep looking at you. You’re the man of the hour Wayne. Just keep enlightening us with your endless knowledge of the futility of alternative energy and engines. Really… it’s good to have you here explaining to us the necessity of gas engines in the 21st century. Thanks so much! 🙂

Joking about what? Your vast knowledge of energy and fuels? No way… 😛

Are you actually trying to tell me we have an alternative?

Would you like me to list the fuels we already have? I’m not sure what you’re asking me. There is no alternative.

Because an actual camera is better than your piece of shit phone? Because a computer has a billion more functions and a lot more use? Because these separate items work better separately? Besides – no one even uses pagers or those bricks anymore.

Hey, you’re the endless well of knowledge when it comes to this topic, just assume we know nothing. Please, go on… I’ve asked you several questions, which you’ve yet to really answer even one… Is there a problem Wayne? 🙂

No Wayne, you tell us… 🙂

Wayne, you’ve made several assertions on this thread. Yet, you’re not willing to back up ANY of them with any real detail or information. Why is that? Then you wonder why I’m just asking questions? Really Wayne, really? 🙂

Sure Sebastian, sure… 😛

Erm… yeah.

Still waiting to hear about the admins magical new technology that will solve the worlds power crisis and wipe out all harmful emissions…..

Can’t wait to hear what it is….

I’m really excited!

What magical new technology Wayne? Since when is viable alternative energy a magical new technology Wayne? What year is it? 1975? 🙂

So you’re saying that there are no viable methods for alternative energy, fuels, or engines then? You do seem to be pretty sure of yourself Wayne. Yet, you won’t elaborate or answer any of my questions… Hmmm… Are we getting a bit shy now? 🙂

So 1999 of you Sebastian… 🙂

This conversation feels a bit like talking to a religious person – “god must be real, he just has to exist!”

You apparently excite and amuse yourself easily Wayne… 🙂

There is a reason they didn’t film Breaking Bad on a smartphone…

So start answering some questions Wayne. See, if you look at the chronology of things, I asked you all the questions first. Yet, you can’t answer even one of them with even a modicum of intellect or substance. Then you wonder why we’re going in circles here? Really Wayne, really?

Tell ya what, time to play admin. 🙂
Answer the questions, discuss with substance or the discussion ends. Good? 🙂

So keep your self-amusement and self-excitement to yourself and off this thread. Your options have been spelled out to you. Have a nice day. And no, you don’t get the last word in this discussion. 🙂

You mean that there aren’t alternatives? Really? 😛 Answer, no. You’re kidding right? 😀 There are no alternatives to gas engines?? Really Wayne? Really?? Answer, no. What about alternative fuels for existing engines? Do those not exist either? Really Wayne? Really?? Answer, there are alternatives, although producing those alternatives produce pollution. Really Wayne? Fossil fuels are the only way to produce electricity? Do tell… what else do you think you know? 🙂 Answer, this question is rhetorical. Joking about what? Your vast knowledge of energy and fuels? No way… 😛 Answer, I actually thought you were joking, it turns out… Read more »

Yeah, such a logical response Sebastian… 😀

…am I missing something here? A camera is better at filming than a smartphone. That’s inarguable. Fuck this page.

Oh Wayne… FAIL… 🙂
